My Story
I am a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years experience working in the public sector and the civil service. I also hold a Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and a PHd in Metaphysical Science.
I first became interested in AI in 2024 during a leadership training programme. Like many people, I started by trying a range of AI courses — but I quickly found most of them overly complicated and not focused on solving real problems.
I wasn’t looking for theory. I wanted AI to help with the challenges I dealt with daily, such as:
- Rapid market research and trend analysis to support decision making
- Producing business plans supported by trend insights and management concepts
- Reviewing and upgrading CVs using a value-added lens (not just tasks and responsibilities)
- Evaluating freelancer work for accuracy, quality and value for money
- Personal finance audits to identify leaks and improve controls for wealth building
- Handling disputes where traditional support requires significant upfront professional fees
As I began using AI consistently, I couldn’t ignore its power. Used correctly, it becomes a solution enabler — no matter your level. You don’t need to approach it like an engineer or a technical specialist.
